Planning and testing for Transformative Education
Project partners for the educational project “New qualification offers for Change Agents” came together at the Wuppertal Institute.
The kick-off meeting and workshop of the EEVA project took place on 15 May 2018. The workshop served as an exchange with representatives of the Swedish Chalmers University (Gothenburg), where similar concepts were developed under the name “Challenge Labs”. Prof. Dr. John Holmberg, Professor of Physical Resource Theory, and his colleague Johan Larsson from the Chalmers, provided the input. They reported on their experiences with this educational format.
Another guest was Lukasz Jarzabek from the Centre for Systems Solutions (CRS) in Poland. For the EEVA project, CRS is developing a game to communicate the complexity of Sustainable Development Goals. The presentation and discussion of the game were part of the agenda.
The exchange between the project partners (e.g. planning the next steps in the course of the project as well as a multiplier workshop) was another item on the agenda.
